The venerable Buick
We said our last goodbyes to the Buick that served us so well over the last couple of years. Right now it is parked at the Sunderland's cabin. Lots of adventures in this car. When Lisa's dad originally purchased it from a lady who put a funny description in the classified ad: "Ugly but dependable".
Nana Robison and Gracie
Gracie met Nana in Orem last week, the two really hit it off! Nana was impressed by Gracie's soft-spoken nature.
Lisa, Gracie, and Nana and Papa Merrill
We visited a lot of LIsa's family in Utah. This was Gracie's introduction to her Nana and Papa at their home in Salt Lake.
mom's ring
David snapped this shot while Mom was opening the diamond ring we got her for Mother's Day. I think everybody was able to keep it a good surprise!
Blessing Day 2
We blessed Gracie on Sunday, May 4 2008. This is the same dress Lisa was blessed in 21 years ago.
edit: I said we blessed Lisa, not Gracie
light
My brother Dave bought my old D100 and is putting it to some great use. Click on the picture to see his photostream on flickr.
bath time
Delaware mom is out and had a great time bathing Gracie.
my girls
I took this photo a week or two ago, but just got around to uploading it. Just hanging out watching the news.
Gracie says it all.
We're getting settled in and trying to establish a routine. Lisa is feeling tired, but we are having lots of fun. The light was too good to pass up while Gracie and I were hanging out trying to give Lisa a nap.
Gracie Sophia Robison
We came home from the hospital yesterday around 4pm. I attended the priesthood session of General Conference with Marc and Merrill and really enjoyed it, even though I'm sure I missed lots because I was so tired.
Last night was a long one for Lisa and Gracie, they're working on getting a routine down. Fortunately, Gracie and Lisa were able to get a good nap in this morning.
I've added a few more pictures from the hospital, and a shot of Lisa and one of me as newborns... who does Gracie most resemble?
