Lots of snow.

Well, it's official, I finally got my diploma in the mail! That means that I have really graduated. I've heard so many stories about people who thought they had completed everything for graduation, only to have a class or two hold them back. I'm glad I didn't have to go through that! There was a very definite since of relief.

L and I are so glad we bought our 4WD Isuzu! Take a look at this picture. My car was clear when we went to bed and this was my sight when I went out to go to work in the morning. Since Super Bowl Sunday we've received more that 2 feet of snow.

Too bad I don't get much of a chance to drive the Isuzu these days...

How do you like the fancy blue diploma cover? It's pretty snazzy, too bad there is no diploma in it. They say it takes up to 6 weeks to receive the actual diploma. Yippee. Still, it was a great night and a great accomplishment.

Merry Christmas!

Life happens really fast. Lisa and I stayed around in Rexburg for Christmas. We had a really good time just the two of us. Christmas eve we welcomed 8" snow.

We headed down to Utah for New Years festivities and hang out with L's family. I've been looking around for a new car to replace L's aging Buick, we had planned to wait a few more weeks, but we ended up buying one! We found a nice Isuzu Axiom with under 50k miles for a good price.

I'm working two jobs: Jewelry and Graphic Designer. Lots of fun.

The Rexburg Temple Open House has been going strong, we are planning to tour the Temple on Tuesday.

L is heading back to school Wednesday and we're trying to get the house reorganized to prepare for some family and friends visiting over the next few weeks.

Alumnus: BYU-Idaho

60 seconds ago I submitted my last papers for the last class I will take here at BYU-Idaho. It's hard to believe! In two hours I'll be in my cap and gown.

Expect lots of reminiscing soon! And Pictures!

I went to all-mart last night and picked up a Black and Decker 1,000,000 candlepower spotlight to pull off this picture. I need to do some more experimenting, and actually charge the light, but I was really pleased.

This was taken with my Nikon D200 with an exposure of about 30secs at about f/16. I was walking around the scene pointing the light that was being filtered through a plastic grocery bag.

On a side note: Less than two weeks from graduation!

Spencer is .5 years old! (6 month photoshoot)

Spencer came over to hang out and pose for me... he really hammed it up, take a look at the slideshow.

Washington Slideshow

**I will be cutting down on the number of slideshows that appear on this first page, to see the slideshow, simply click the links**

L and I took a roadtrip to Washington State to hang out with her parents and little sis. We had a blast! Take a look at the slideshow.

Mom's ring

I had the goldsmith at work restore the detail and reset the stones in mom's ring. The guy is just amazing.

Flat tires and up in smoke

What a week. Wednesday L and I were headed to the grocery store for some munchies when our driver-side rear tire blew out. A giant bolt penetrated the tread and broke out through the sidewall. I got the spare on and headed to Big-O tire. I like Big-O. We just got these tires in March and they were covered by a road hazard warranty so we were able to get that taken care of for free. It was a hassle but at least it didn't cost us anything. Good thing, too.

Friday night I headed over to a friends house and our wives took off to see a friend. I was working a Flash project for my Multimedia Production class and was making good progress. I headed home and finished another project for Web Design. It was about midnight and my faithful PowerBook was down to 4% battery, so I plugged in the power adapter and *poof* no more power adapter. I don't dare plug it in now and the even overnighting it my new power adapter won't be here until Tuesday. Not to mention it cost over $90.

Hopefully I can borrow one before class and finish my ad.

I'm using my wife's Dell to post this. I can't wait for my Apple.
